Under "Early Learning", we have pictures of titles in the "Ladybird Key Words Reading Scheme". The learner starts with book 1a, then reads 1b and 1c. 2a follows, then 2b and 2c and so on until the child reaches 12a, 12b and 12c. Also linked with this scheme is the "Read It Yourself" series of graded storybooks, which are supplementary reading and are carefully designed to familiarize children with the most familiarly used words in the English language.
